Review: Hotel Park Inn, Bilaspur

It has been aptly said that ‘We travel not to escape life but for life not to escape us’. I was recently surprised  by one of my close friends with a two-day trip to Park Inn, Bilaspur. And I must admit, the place was everything that I wanted to be. A perfect one-hour drive away from hustle bustle of Gurgaon, and located along the highway.

The hotel looked uncluttered and has lots of open spaces around. I know many of us still prefer to stay at resorts rather than hotels but the location of the place would give you the feeling of the former only. The main attraction for me at the hotel was its infinity (pretty close to the actual) pool. The pool was of an average size and death, and the surrounding area was neat and tidy with open seating space for snack/brunch as well.

Coming to another main point – food. I really liked the food that they served, especially the buffet breakfast menu. It had quite diverse options. In fact the restaurant area was also pretty spaced out and had impressive interiors and seating arrangement.

The rooms were better than other hotels in the similar price range. The room was quite spread, but the washroom was a bit congested. But it did not look uncomfortable though. And just in case you want to relax and rejuvenate yourself, you may as well go for one of the spa sessions that they offer at attractive prices.

The hotel also had gaming area with indoor games such as, billiards and carrot board. And by the pool side, one can also access the gym. A good options to start your day with.

Finally, I would like to state that the entire trip to Park Inn, Bilaspur has been a nice experience altogether. The management staff is also very warm and cooperating. I recommend visiting this place at least once for a weekend to experience the warmth of the hotel. And in case you want the best deals for the stay, do het into a research online for the best packages.
