Best brunch recipes for a perfect Sunday​ binge!

Sundays are meant to be cheat days (for those who follow a strict diet for the rest of the days of the week). Though I have not been in shape ever, Sundays turn out to be extra prone to food cravings for me. Sad but true. And I know, there must be a whole lot of people among my readers who would fall under this category :p

Here I am sharing with you some perfect recipes for a Sunday binge:

  1. Hummus with Pita Bread:
    For Hummus – Roast and grind quarter cup white sesame seeds with 1 cup boiled chickpeas, 4-5 garlic pods, 3-4 tsp olive oil, 4-5 tsp lemon juice, and salt to taste. Blend until it forms a smooth paste. Hummus is ready. Garnish with some olive oil and red chilli powder. Serve with fresh pita bread.

  2. Chicken hotdog:
    Lightly saute chicken sausages in a pan. Take a hotdog bun and make a slit horizontally (keeping the ends intact). Put cheese slices, chicken sausages, and a generous amount of garlic mayonnaise. Top it with tomato ketchup, and mustard sauce as garnish.
  3. Classic egg boats:
    Break two eggs in a bowl. Add quarter cup milk, finely chopped onion, tomatoes, and green chillies, salt, and pepper. Now take two hotdog buns and make a well in the centre by scooping out bread. pour the egg batter. Top it with grated cheese, chopped coriander, and oregano. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 180 degrees. Serve hot.
